Why this checklist exists

Our permesso expires in August. So I made a checklist.

The permesso di soggiorno is the paperwork spine of a life in Italy, and the process arrives with no manual: the CISL appointment, the kit, the fees, the ricevuta you guard like a passport, the questura date that can take months. We learned the order of operations by getting it wrong once.
